Our Mission

Our mission at Legacy Guyana is to develop national disciple-makers and leaders to plant churches that deploy indigenous workers into God’s global harvest field.

WHO WE ARE

Our story in Guyana begins with a short-term mission trip that turned into fully surrendering our lives to serve these people that we’ve come to love. In March 2022, we packed up our lives into crates and suitcases to make the move. During our first few months on the ground, we realized that we were reaching the lost through evangelism, but there was no multiplication of workers through discipleship.

With this insight, we founded Legacy Guyana in the town of Lethem, located in Region 9. Now, our primary ministry focus is to reach the 20% indigenous Amerindian culture located in the 80% land mass of the country’s interior.
